Naruto:
Sasuke? (*knocks*)
Do you want to do some training?
Come on, you promised me you'd go!
I never see you on missions
Anymore
Where did you go?

We used to be best buddies
And now we're not
I wish you would tell me why!

Do you want to do some training?
We don't really have to do some training...

Sasuke:
Leave me alone, Naruto.

Naruto:
Okay, bye...

(*knocks*)
Do you want to do some training?
Come on, let's go back to Konoha
Everybody's waiting for you
They want you home
Especially Sakura
Sasuke:
It's too late, Naruto.

Naruto:
It gets a little lonely
The village is
Quiet without you...

(*knocks*)
Sasuke?
Please, I know you're in there
Everybody wants you dead
I know you won't listen to me
I'm only telling you this because we're friends

To me you're like a brother
We have a special bond
A bond that will never break

Do you want to do some training?
Basically, this is a Naruto parody of the song "Do You Want To Build A Snowman?" from the Disney movie "Frozen." I saw the movie on March 1, 2014 (Saturday) (which was the day before the Oscars took place the next day, Sunday, March 2, 2014) at my cousin's house on their Apple TV, and of course, I loved it. I thought it was a really cute movie. It's a kids movie. I happened to end up falling in love with this song (other than another song from the movie called "Let It Go,") that I just had to write Naruto fan-made lyrics to the song because I saw a couple of people make their own Naruto parody versions of this song, and I thought, "Hmm. Maybe I should give it a try." I also wanted to do this because today (March 28) is Sakura's birthday, so I guess you can say this is her birthday present because it represents the bond with Team 7 (Kakashi, Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke). The first part of the song is about how Naruto heard Sakura and Sasuke talking about Sasuke's Curse Mark (which was during an episode of the original Naruto anime which took place before Sasuke was about to fight Yoroi in the Chunin Exams), and Naruto is unsure what happened to Sasuke because he (Naruto) got knocked out from Orochimaru's Five-Pronged Seal, which is why Naruto sings the part "We used to be best buddies, and now we're not. I wish you would tell me why!" The second part of the song takes place during the Sasuke Retrieval Arc where Naruto, Shikamaru, Choji, Neji, and Kiba are sent on a mission to bring Sasuke (who has gone to Orochimaru for power in order to kill Itachi) back to Konoha, and in the song, Naruto begs Sasuke to come back to Konoha, but Sasuke says, "It's too late, Naruto," because I remember during Naruto and Sasuke's fight at the Valley Of The End, Sasuke told Naruto, "It's too late, Naruto. I can't turn back." Finally, the last part of the song skips forward to the present where Naruto and Sasuke are about 16-17 years old in Naruto Shippuden, and everybody (except for Naruto) wants Sasuke dead because he betrayed Konoha. I guess you could say I was kind of inspired by that one episode of Naruto Shippuden where Sasuke asks Naruto, "Why do you care so much about me, Naruto?" to which Naruto replies, "Because we're friends," which refers to the lyrics of the song, "I know you won't listen to me. I'm only telling you this because we're friends. To me you're like a brother. We have a special bond, a bond that will never break." One of the things I love about the Naruto series is not just the storyline, and of how it inspires people to never give up, but it's also the strong friend/enemy bond between Naruto and Sasuke and of how no matter how far Sasuke falls into darkness, Naruto will still be there to support him (in a friendship way, not the yaoi way). I actually wrote these lyrics a week before Sakura's birthday while I was listening to the song "Do You Want To Build A Snowman?" Yes, I know Sasuke has returned to Konoha in the current Naruto manga as we speak, and there's still lots of things going on in the Fourth Great Ninja War. Sorry if the song is kind of sad at the end. Well, Happy Birthday, Sakura.
